Apparel Buying Tips!

Size Selection & Group Buying Guidelines

The following guidelines can help you streamline your buying and, therefore, boost your profits.

Buying for Men: Any style listed as Adult is sized for men. Adult Golf-cut styles generally offer a better fit for beefier male builds.

Buying for Ladies: Styles listed as Ladies are women's sizes. If the women in your team prefer Men's or Adult style, select one size smaller than what they would wear in Ladies sizes.

Buying for Groups: Use the charts below for a general percentage to help you determine how many shirts in each size you need when buying for a group.

To calculate your buying quantities by size, simply multiply the number of people in your group by the percentage in the chart for each size.

These are general guidelines only and should only be used as a starting point for determining necessary quantities. Your group sizes may vary greatly.

Fit Guide

Adult Sizes

Chest - With arms down at sides, measure around the upper body, under arms and over the fullest part of the chest.

Neck - Measure around the base of the neck, inserting a finger or two between the tape and neck for comfort.

Waist - Measure waist at the height pants are normally worn, and keep the tape comfortably loose.

Sleeve - Place hand on hips. Start at the center of the back of the neck and measure across the shoulder, to the elbow, and then down the wrist.

Inseam - Measure a similar style pant that fits well and is the desired length. Measure from the crotch seam to the hem.

Ladies Sizes

Bust - With arms down at sides, measure around the upper body, under arms and around the fullest part of the bust.

Waist - Measure at the natural waist, and keep the tape comfortably loose.

Hips - Stand with heels together, and measure around the fullest part of the hips.

Inseam - Measure a similar style pant that fits well and is the desired length. Measure from the crotch seam to the hem.
